Tomas studied visual arts in the UANL , he began painting decorative murals and doing illustrations for Reform Publisher Group. He currently contributes with students in PET (Plastic Conarte Experimental Workshop), while continuing his artwork.
Tomas Hache is also member and co-founder of the group Artecocodrilo in the city of Oaxaca in 2005 and one of the co-founders of Nodal Art Gallery in New York, 2009. In May 2010 he participated as a speaker and artist in the exhibit " "FLOWCHARTS" hosted by the prestigious Nuffield College in the city of Oxford, a lecture related to the problem economic in Mexico as a result of the violence and the drug war. In December 2010 he participated in the exhibition "REAL LIFE ISSUES" in New York City by Nodal Art Gallery.
His work is characterized generally by creating objects that start from simple materials such as recycled wood pieces which then becomes totemic objects with varied meanings, like old idols adapted to contemporary culture. His pictorial work speaks of personal moments and outspoken views on the problems of human beings living in society, at times portraying ironic, caricatured and schematic behavior of the human condition. Acquisition Award Review of Nuevo Leon 2011 with his piece "What's left to say" under the technique of mixed media on wood. His latest solo exhibition LOW FI HEROES is an example of consolidation artistic speech and maturity.
