Fernando Isassi refers to himself as a visual producer who creates videos and photography. Since finishing a degree in Architecture from the Metropolitan University of Monterrey, he continues to be based in Monterrey, Mexico.
He has had two solo photography shows in Mexico, as well as two solo video installations. He has also shown his work in four different collective shows. Most recently Fernando, along with a few pieces from his video series the Chimera Product, traveled to Santiago, Chile to participate in the Zona 9 International Video Festival.
His photos have been published in the Multimagen Magazine (2008) of Buenos Aires, as well as the Mexican Magazines Cuarto Oscuro (2007) and La Tempestad (2008) and various newspapers and websites in Mexico.
In 2008 co-founded the Gallery Colectivo 08, an Emergent Artists’ Gallery, which has produced several shows featuring artists mostly from Monterrey.
